This is a special program for the long weekend ahead (3-5 October) limited to 9 people only.
Come and join us on an unforgettable retreat in the nature. We will be camping at Ponta Membene campsite with great support. Our staff will make sure you have a relaxed time.
You will be at the beach, an isolated beautiful beach, and experience walking ad drive safaris inside the Maputo Special Reserve. The Reserve is located on Maputo Bay 100 kilometers from Maputo and it is a conservation area and its 1040 km2 big, the reserve combines lakes, wetlands, swamp forests, grasslands, mangrove forests with pristine coastline.
Driving around the reserve towards our campsite, you will find the vast open areas where elephants and other plain games refresh themselves, you will drive pass different fresh water lagoons with a lot of great variety of birds, hippos, and crocodiles.
It’s an all exclusive program. We take all the camping equipment and food.

We will leave Maputo at 6:00, and drive for an hour and a half to the reserve entrance gate, adventure begins, you will drive around the reserve, enjoy the landscape, variety of birdlife and wildlife the reserve offers, you will have a nice break at one of the freshwater lagoons, here our guide will serve you with refreshments and have some snacks while you watch the hippos, birdlife, and crocodiles.
After the short break, you will proceed with the drive heading towards our campsite, passing different freshwater lagoons and plains, and forests, lastly you will come to our camp where the Indian oceans await you.
Enjoy the rest of the afternoon swimming in the ocean or simply take a walk along the beach. Watch the sunset at our campsite, Camp will be set and dinner will be served under the unique starry sky, enjoy a drink around the bonfire whilst you discuss the adventure you have so far, our guide will give you a brief about the next day program.
On Day 2 we will have a walking Safari around Ponta Membene. Our guide will give you very interesting insights into wildlife.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are at the campsite on the beach. You can enjoy the amazing beach of Ponta Membene.
On Day 3 we will have a very complete brunch and enjoy the morning at the beach. At around noon we will leave our camp and start the final Game Drive Safari see different places in the Maputo Special Reserve.
We shall reach Maputo at around 18:00.
