We’ll start at Santa Maria, your feet on the white sand walking through the beach enjoying the unique feeling of being by the sea. 🙂 You’ll have a beautiful view for elephants on the first day of your journey. But that’s not all, we’ll be walking inside a Special Reserve with extraordinary Wildlife, so get ready to spot Zebras, giraffes, hippos, a viariety of antilopes and birds while enjoying the sun and the sea. We will walk for 18km to Ponta Mucombo, where we’ll arrive at about 4pm and a campsite will be ready and waiting for us.
It’s time to have a taste of Ponta Mucombo Beach. Dinner will be prepared while we enjoy delicious drinks. In the evening we will tell stories around the fire and under the beautiful starry sky.
In the morning you’ll wake up with birds singing and the sound of waves reminding us it’s time for our longest stretch. We will walk for 29km. But don’t worry. It will be worth it. We will explore an unknown by exclusive breathtaking beaches inside the Reserve like Chamucane, Milibangala, Membene, on top of the dunes you can contemplate the views of the indian ocean, finally we’ll get to a well-deserved rest in Dobela, one of the most stunning beaches you’ve ever seen. We’ll prepare some cultural immersion moments for you to enrich your personal experience.
On the third day we’ll leave Dobela behind to walk for 18km and sleep at Ponta Mamoli. This is a renowned location because it is the home for one of the top resorts in Mozambique, White Pearl. But we’re not staying there, we’ll be in our tents, which are much more stylish:) In our campsite we’ll have talks and games to help us relax and enjoy our stay, for sure most of us has something to share with one another.
In our last day we walk for 15km until we get to Ponta do Ouro where we’ll arrive before lunch and finish the expedition with tasty local food and ice-cold beer. Around 4pm it’s time to go back to Maputo with our bags, minds and hearts filled with new friends, stories to tell, and above all, with everlasting memories.
