The day
We meet at Porto de Pesca in Maputo at 7.30am and take the speedboat across the bay to Santa Maria. The morning is yours: snorkel the reef, walk over to the ocean side, cross to Machangulo if you feel like it, or take the paddle board out and do nothing in particular. We then run the boat to Inhaca village for a long lunch of fresh seafood, where you meet the dancers of the Associação Juvenil. The afternoon is on Portuguese Island, the sandbank off Inhaca, with beach sports for anyone who wants them. The boat gets us back to Maputo around 6pm.
