A Kruger Park Tailor Made Tour is definitely one of the best experiences a traveler may have in the african continent.

The park is one of the biggest Game Parks in Africa. It borders Zimbabwe (Gonarezhou National Park) and Mozambique (Limpopo National Park).

If you want to sleep in the park or on its borders it’s an upgraded experience, we recommend if you have the time. Outside of the Kruger Park we also recommend including some beautiful places such as Hazy View, Gods Window, Pilgrims Rest, and a few others.

The park covers an area of ​​more than 19 thousand square kilometers. It was founded in 1926 and is one of the largest animal reserves in Africa.

We call it “the safaris supermarket”, but do not understand the term as pejorative. It is obvious that there are wilder and more genuine parks, but few have the density of fauna that Kruger Park has, much less the organization and ease of access and support to the tourist that this park presents.

It is mandatory to visit Kruger Park if you are in Mozambique because it is only 1 hour away. In fact, part of its territory is in Mozambique, however, the Kruger gates in the Mozambican side are very difficult to access, and it is advisable to use the South African entrances, namely Malelane and Crocodile bridge (Komatiport).

The crossing of the border can be time consuming, you have to choose wisely the time and day so that everything runs well, and if you do so can you can be in the Kruger Park an hour after leaving Maputo.

It is advisable to take a tall car, especially from December to June, when the grass is still high.

Do not forget the binoculars, you are not allowed to go off-road in Kruger to go near the animals. Also do not forget some basic rules like the fact that you cannot exceed the speed limit or bring alcoholic drinks into the park. The rangers are very strict.

It is possible, and worthwhile, to take a day trip to Kruger, but you can also choose to stay longer. It is possible to sleep inside the Kruger, but there is also have accommodation options outside the park which are a great.
