You will enjoy a stunning day at the Indian Ocean, walking along the beach, swimming this pristine waters and tasting the great food the beachfront restaurants have to offer.
Furthermore, you can go deeper in this experience and look for water activities like diving, surf boards, paddle boards… If you wish to, we can also book one of the following 3 experiences: swimming with dolphins (in the wild), sea safari (to look for sea animals) and discover scuba diving (first experience of diving for non-experience people). The first two have an extra cost of 60 USD, and the last one 125 USD. Bear on mind we have to check if they are running these experiences as depend on climate factors.

Good morning, world. Here we go for a wonderful different day in Ponta do Ouro. Where do we meet? Up to you!
We will start the day crossing Maputo’s bridge, one icon both in Mozambique and in Africa, and getting beautiful (and quick views) of the point where the Indian Ocean gets fed by Matola River. We will try to drive as slow as possible, but forbidden to stop.
Leaving behind the busy capital we will drive step by step into the deeper province of Maputo, increasingly uninhabited as soon as we go deeper into the bush. The landscape is just amazing. So green and dense!! And there is one surprise, or maybe more, as we have to cross a small part of Maputo Special Reserve where quite often some animals are spotted (giraffes, impalas, elephants…). You will know we are crossing the Reserve because you will jump several times.
It will take us one hour and a half approximately to reach Ponta do Ouro, where we will park our car and take you down to the beach. We will carry a portable fridge (Coleman) full of ice with us, so you can carry your personal extra drinks (maybe a beer, maybe a gintonic) and put them inside; if you need some glass, let us know in advance and will take care in advance. There, just relax and enjoy this wild beach. Our Mussiro host will join you the whole day and will take care of your shadow (yes, we will have a shadow for you) and your belongings, so you can go around in peace.
If you wish, we are happy at preparing different experiences for you, like sailing the sea in a safari to look for dolphins, whales (only from July-October), turtles, mantas, whale sharks…; it depends on what Sea wants to offer that day. You can also take part in a dolphin spot experience, where you will look for dolphins in the wild and you will jump into the water and swim them very close. And the third option we suggest is to have the most similar experience ever compared to be out in the space at gravity zero: you can try diving. You don’t need a course, you only need the will for a great experience under the sea: coral reef, fish, turtles, sharks…; a great experience that we do recommend!
After this, choose any restaurant in the beachfront area and if you love seafood, go for it, as meals here are really good. But they have a big offer of food, so don’t worry if you prefer something different. J
Then, have a coffee, continue resting and enjoying the beach. It’s a suitable place to walk, meditate, read or just do nothing.
Around 4.30 p.m. we will start heading our way back to Maputo and second trial to spot animal crossing Maputo Special Reserve!
